I use a fair number of Wolf (been told both are made in same factory) and have had no problem with them. This is in a .45 and not a benchrest gun so can't comment on accuracy with them.

I use Tula for 45ACP. I get a dud about 1/750 or so. I will often try a 2bd, 3rd, and even 4th strike...no dkubt, it's dead. Take it home, pull the bullet, and there's always been powder. They're cheap, though!

been running wolff in everything i own, other than finding a primer missing(once)or one with a flatten side in the box, the accuracy is as good as everything else i tried. with over 60,000 primers used the last 5 years, no complaints.I just wished they wouldn't tape every damn tray shut.

I haven't ran any Tula but a few wolf not to many but those of which I have ran have given me some very decent es/sd. I tried Fed210M, Wolf LR, CCI200, CCIBR2. The Wolf came in second in the numbers right behind the Fed210M, with about 2fps difference. Both the Fed210M and Wolf LR were under 10fps ES. So yeah they're damn decent, especially for the price.

If there is truth to these primers being made in the same factory as Wolf primers, perhaps they are also slightly tighter fitting than the domestic brands that are so widely available here. I've been waiting two years for Wolf large rifle magnum primers to be available in preparation for the eventuality of stretched primer pockets in .300WinMag, but have not been able to find any. I am using Wolf primers in the soft .308 Federal brass, and get more loadings from it. Anyone know if the Tula primers have tight tolerances like the Wolf primers?

Have had good luck with Wolf LRP. Don't seem to have any issues with them fitting in my 308 Win primer pockets, although they do occasionally have issues with the Dillon primer pickup tubes. Once in a while 1-2 per 100 will be slightly oversized and won't travel easily through the tube. Worth it for the low price and good performance, however.

As above post, I like them because they are slightly oversized. I have a pile of FGMM 308 brass. When the primer pockets get a little loose, I can switch over to Wolf and get a couple more firings out the brass.

Huh... not a bad idea! Maybe I won't sell my spent FGMM brass after all.

I use Wolf in a 6mm Dasher. Cut my SD in half. SD is always less than 10 and I have seen strings go as low as 2. If they work in bechrest guns they should work anywhere. I am using the LR's in my 260 now. You can't beat the small rifle primers at any price. I have not used them enough in large rifle to know for sure but I am happy so far.

This is very unlikely and I've been using Wolf LR primers for a few years now. The Russian primers may or may not produce very slight almost undetectable loss in velocity using H4895, IMR4895, Varget, RL17 and XBR8208 powders which were what I used for velocity and consistency testing with a few different primers.
When compared with standard CCI LR and mil spec CCI LR primers I chrono'd during testing using my trusty PVM21 chrono I saw what looked like maybe a very slight loss in velocity but it was too small to verify. But what was most interesting to me was that I could get slightly higher velocity using a powder charge beyond previous pressure limits without pressure signs. These Russian primers are very consistent and so cheap that I'm pretty happy with them.

Where do you guys get these Tula's? I have heard that some benchrest guys actually prefer them over anything else for large rifle, and if they are cheaper...sounds good.
I usually buy at my local Sportsman's Warehouse or Cabelas store to avoid HAZMAT charges on shipping them.

Unless you are very lucky and pay the bullet you will have to bight the hazmat fee. I combine a 5K case of primers with enough powder to whatever the maximum powder weight limit to minimize the cost the hazmat fee has on my powders and primers. Bruno's is cheapest but out of stock right now, Powder Valley and Midway have them but cost a bit more and Graf's is just over priced. Shop the powders though and look at shipping as this can make a significant difference in cost to your door. If you have some local club shooters who reload see if any of them want to go in on a few pounds of powder and primers to help share the fees and minimize shipping and hazmat fees.

Just doesn't seem cost effective with the HAZMAT, unless you buy all your powder for the year along with it. Others may shoot a lot more than me though.
