Gunsmithing Commercial Oven For Sale

Hi to all, and I know this is not the for sales section, so please forgive me ahead of time.

I'm posting it here because it is where anyone into gunsmithing would look for such a thing.

This oven is a three Phase 208/240 commercial unit which I bought when my business started to take off, which was about 2.5 years ago. I closed shop about 1 year ago, and has been in my garage ever since doing a job here and there. So, the use has been minimal, and it's in great shape. It has electronic controls, which has a timer on it. It is also on iron casters for ease of movement.

Dimensions inside are 2.5 ft wide, 2 ft deep, 4 ft tall. The walls are about 6.5 inches thick. The outside measures 80 inches tall, 4.5 ft wide, and 5 ft deep for floor space.

I paid $4999.99 plus $800.00 delivery. I am selling it for $2700.00, but buyer must pick up at my home for this price, and I will help in any way I can to load it.

This is the kind of deal I wish I ran across when I was setting up shop. Thank you.

Yeah, I agree. I have it hooked up to my 7.5 HP rotary phase converter, and it pulls 20 amps with only half of the elements hooked up. You would need a 10 HP coverter to run it at full load. On commercial 3 phase it is very efficient.

No, I don't know that I can ever get completely out of it. I am looking forward to moving to a new home early next year, and need a bit more space in the garage. I will build one out of a cheap gun safe which will be about 25% of this ones size.

JC Metal Fabricators made this unit, in case someone wants to check them out. One of the few things still made in America, by Americans. It's not really practical for a home shop running on single phase, but for a business it's hard to beat. It will reach up to 600 degrees, and run on nothing once it's at operating temp.

why couldnt you live closer Ozzie??? Ive been lookikng at bigger ovens & this is a very good deal.

Because the weather is to nice down here all year, otherwise I'd be there. LOL!! It's a shame, because I know there are a lot of guys that could use this thing for this price.
