After learning a lot in the last few months from this forum and others, I figure some of you guys might be able to help me out with this.
I currently have an SBR build in the works and hope to have my stamps in the next 60 days. My current upper is a Yankee Hill A3 Receiver with a Yankee Hill Diamond Series Rifle Length Forearm, the barrel is a Daniel Defense 11.5" Mil Profile. The setup is designed to have my SAS M455 Suppressor fit approximately 2" into the Forearm, no problem so far, the forearm has an Inside Diameter of approximately 1.75" and the SAS M455 is OD 1.5". The question is that I'd like to switch the YH Forearm out for either a Spikes or Seekins SAR Forearm because I really prefer the slimmer profile, the new inside diameter of these two is real close to 1.5", the suppressor will just slide into these without force but it is very close and does touch the inside of the forearm slightly. Am I going to run into problems of any kind trying to accomplice this? It to me doesn't seem like it should create problems, I assume the forearm will get warmer than normal with the heat transfer from the suppressor, but this is a "for fun" plinker/target gun and I really don't do mag dumps...well not very often! Thanks in advance for any insight or thoughts on this you might be able to throw my way.
