I fell in love with the xlr chassis and planned on ordering one. I bought a 10fp-sr in 308 to put in the chassis. But after ordering the gun i ended up really liking the idea of just a solid stock. But I'm still wanting a drop magazine.

Is it possible to get the stock for the 4.4 action that fits the dbm model. Buy the bottom metal used in the bottom of the 10fcp-sr/k and it all bolt right in?

I'll still get the xlr eventually because kyle has been more than helpful and ive been talking to cdi about getting a stock from them and they have been great as well.

Just wanting to get something on it quick.

Thanks,
Matt

I put CDI bottom metal into my FCP Accustock pretty easily. I posted pictures of it here:

Would you mind getting a photo of what your smith did with the underside of the trigger? What did he do with the bolt release? I'm not sure if mine did my CDI metal right.

I'll also add to the recommendations for CDI. I ordered the wrong one from Midway and they had me send it in to them to swap for the correct kit for my Savage 10FCP. Apparently the inletting was minimal but not sure if the bolt release was done right by the smith. Is the FP-SR up next to the bolt or down on the trigger guard?
