I've heard the same but, at like $4,500!

Re: Hensoldt 3.5-28x56mm

I called a hide vendor this week, they told me 2Q at the earliest. I also inquired about the 4-16 with the upgraded turrets and was told first quarter 2013.

Locking single turn 14.5 mil elev. turret with zero stop.
Locking windage turret as well.

Re: Hensoldt 3.5-28x56mm

Actually, it has two 18 mil revolutions in the turret, so 36 mils of elevation overall. This is what I find most impressive about it as my S&B 5-25 tops out around 25 mils. I hope they end up doing a 5-36x version down the road.

Unfortunately, if it ends up going for $4500 it will be hard to justify. At that point you might as well splurge on an SN-9 and it's 230MOA of elevation.

Re: Hensoldt 3.5-28x56mm

I have posted this info before , its price is 3684.87 Euros , and its available in Nov 2012 , from IEA .

I would like CW knobs , also the price is much higher than I had thought .

Later Chris

The SN9 is almost 2.5 ft long! There is a huge difference in physical size between the Henny and USO. I would still stick with Hensoldt for that reason alone.
