It'll break in to just about broken soon enough. Blame your shoes for now.

Re: Crossbreed holster squeaks

I have one that's about slap worn out now, but it took a few weeks to stop squeaking when it was new.

Re: Crossbreed holster squeaks

If you don't mind me asking 1Shot, what pistol are you carrying in it? I have a crossbreed, and its never squoke. LoL. Also I was going to say that my crossbreed now sits on a shelf, because its just too large and cumbersome for me.

Re: Crossbreed holster squeaks

Have had 2 , 1st was for a 1911 commander size , it did squeak for a week or so. I also have a mini-tuck for a sig 938 and it has never made any noise.

Re: Crossbreed holster squeaks

The squeak comes from the leather rubbing on the belt tabs/hooks. Leather conditioner behind the belt hooks will stop it, but I wouldnt put conditioner on the whole thing, you dont want the leather to stretch and loosen the retention.

Re: Crossbreed holster squeaks

I also ran into that with two of them. Like the others, the squeak went away after a week or so, and the leather conditioner will take care of it more quickly.
