For those that own the 30P-1, what is the typical POI shift you notice when going from unsuppressed to suppressed?

On my custom 260 with a 26" light palma contour barrel, I am seeing .75moa low and dead nuts windage. I just got my stamp so I havent tested it on my other rifles, but I may this weekend. If so, I will add that info.

Can't speak for TBAC but on a properly threaded barrel in a remmy contour or heavier we are seeing NONE to half MOA way to often for it to be a fluke on the SAS Arbiters and the Reapers. There are some that seem to say or believe that POI doesn't matter as long as it's repeatable and groups. I disagree when there are products out there that do both with very little to none POI shift....

The stiffer the barrel the less POI change you will see.
On my 24" AWP, I have no change. On a 26" medium Palma contour (lighter than AWP), I get about 2 clicks elevation.
The vast majority of our customers have between zero and 2 or 3 clicks.
Whenever you stick a weight on the barrel, there is the potential for physical deflection and harmonic change, and the less stiff the barrel, the more both of these are possible.
The stiffer the barrel the less POI change you will see.
On my 24" AWP, I have no change. On a 26" medium Palma contour (lighter than AWP), I get about 2 clicks elevation.
The vast majority of our customers have between zero and 2 or 3 clicks.

And concentric threading of the barrel!!! I have seen rifles with a larger than normal shift on a heavy barrel and it is almost always not threaded properly! TBACs got alot of proven cans in the field and if you have a large POI shift thats where I would look first.

Thanks guys. I had two rifles threaded by a gunsmith (Mark Pharr) who seems to know what he is doing. Both rifles were almost identical at 1.25" low at 100. One is a Savage 12FV .223 cut down to 20" and the other is a Remington 700 re-barreled in 6.5X47 with a 26" Krieger barrel. Both rifles shot lights out with the suppressor, so I was just curious. I am seriously addicted now.

How much POI shift a system has has been, in my experience, a lot more depenant on the barrel and gun than the can.
There are some guns that are going to have a shift, I don't care what can you have.

How much POI shift a system has has been, in my experience, a lot more depenant on the barrel and gun than the can.
There are some guns that are going to have a shift, I don't care what can you have.

Absolutely no shift with my 30p-1. Used it while I broken in my new Krieger #10. Took the can off every other 5 shots for 25 rounds w/ no shift between sets. avg of .224 moa. Make sure to keep your threads and barrel shoulder clean of carbon and your gtg.
