Just what is states, If you could have any scope configuration.

I will start. I woud have a scope 4x36x50 power. MOA turrets. 35 mm tube. 50 moa up and down for a total of 100 moa. I would like a MOA reticle that is like the MOA reticle on IOR Tactical scope. Rugged one piece tube. Zero stops and high speed turrets. Front focal plane German glass. I would like to add one thing to it. I would like lines across the bottom that is the size of a average human at diffrent distances. Out to 1200 yards. The lines would be horizontal. Match up the line across the chest and you should average pretty damn close to how far out they are. I dont not want anything electical in my scope.

Re: what would your perfect scope made be

mine would be a 1-16x24, 34mm tube. Flashdot in the SFP that switches to FFP when rolled above 2 power, then have a mil scale reticle, .1 mil knobs, double turn with at least 40 mils of total travel.

Re: what would your perfect scope made be

1-32x50. Weighs less than a pound. FFP with a thin reticle. 10mil turrets. HD glass. Built in night vision and the ability to call in air strikes. Can't cost more than $200.

Oh, and it must be made by the Countersniper guys.

Re: what would your perfect scope made be

S&B 5-25x56 with H2CMR reticle.

Re: what would your perfect scope made be

The S&B 5-25x56, MSR I've been waiting for since May.

Germany, listen up!, put down the beer and build my scope, please.

It'd be a tough call for me between the 3-20x and the 5-25x, but...ditto!

Although...personally, I might like to have the .1 mil marks moved down between the 3-4mil or 4-5mil areas instead of further up between the 2-3mil area.

Oh...and it should be free to me and cost everyone else not more than $500 US.

Re: what would your perfect scope made be

S&B 5-25x56 (I have) or 3-20x56 (I want) with their P4FL-MOA reticle and 1/4 MOA knobs. Sooooo sexy!

Re: what would your perfect scope made be

1-50x50 with ffp and second focal, thermal, nightvision, xray vision, tiny built in radar that would find your target while you napped when hunting, camera and video camera built in to capture footage, rangefinder built in morphing mounting system to match whatever rifle you want to put it on. all your scopes settings inside the scope, elevation, windage, illumination.

hey if you're going to dream, do it big.

Re: what would your perfect scope made be

I am prefectly happy with my Vortex PST 6-24x50 MRAD Tactical that I got from Mike @ CSTactical. I need nothing else. Now having enough ammo to shoot, that is a different story.

Re: what would your perfect scope made be

I thought we were talking fantasy land scopes, not real life scopes

Re: what would your perfect scope made be

I think the hdmr 4.5-30 w/h59 is going to be damn close, but I may end up with a 3.5-21 first.

Re: what would your perfect scope made be

1. 5x-32x magnification range
2. Second Focal plane crosshairs with first focal plane MIL hashmarks (kind of a best of both worlds)....don't even know if this will work
3. G2-esque graduated holdover reticle. Something effective, but not as busy as a Horus
4. S&B-quality glass, NF-type durability
5. "Plenty" of internal elevation travel (whatever size tube, etc. that requires)
6. Price point of less than $2K

A guy can dream, can't he?

Re: what would your perfect scope made be

Countersniper with four reticles in mil and moa, power range in -5 to 99.7. 34mm tube with 192 moa of internal travel. Three color illuminated with built in nightvision. Sorry, I'm bored

Re: what would your perfect scope made be

My perfect scope made would be affordable.

Re: what would your perfect scope made be

1x/3-30x50
The scope would have a dual focal plane system where the 1x had a daylight visible red dot/firedot and it deactivated the focal system and eliminated eye relief. This would act like an actual red dot sight like an Aimpoint. Switch the ocular lens over a hard click to 3x and it engages a front focal plane magnified optic with a 10x erector.
Scope would have a 34mm tube. It would have locking turrets with 0.1mrad adjustment, with 15mils per revolution and total elevation travel of 40mils. Illumination would be digital with recall memory to the last setting. The illumination would use ACET like technology to give super long battery life. It would have a built-in 2500yd LRF that showed angle and compensated distance for angle cosine as a selectable option. Glass would be HD/ED quality equal to a Hensoldt, and there would be numerous reticle options available similar to what US Optics offers.
Add in wireless connectivity to an iPhone or iPad so that a spotter can see what you see and help make corrections.
