This should prove to be a challenge with a 3 inch barrel and nothing more than a Trench Site Groove as Colt calls it.

Note, I borrowed a net pic as mine is still in the box.

Really nice. I have lived with a similar model for decades. If the work is properly done, those rigs can shoot lights out. You can put down your brick and pick up a 3" and have the best of both worlds. I see they are making a double action as well, too bad it is hammerless as it does not need to be. Can't comment on their version of "Guttersnipe" sights, but just practice.

One of the most accurate pistols I have shot within 20 yards and a pleasure to own. I hope you find yours equally excellent.

Nice, I personally tried and didn't like the lack of sights.

I would get a 3" Colt, but the Defender only comes in bright indiscreet LOOK AT ME stainless except for a limited Talo New Agent model which I can't find reasonably.

So I'm stuck with a 3.5" Officers parkerized for the moment...

Re: Colt New Agent 1911 in .45 ACP

Had a Colt Double Eagle officer model and it would not cycle for shit. Sent it back to Colt 3 times and still would not cycle. I have a pretty iron grip so I was not limp wristing. I think it was a matter of it would only cycle with ball ammo. I dumped it and never looked back. I will say that does look nice but not sure I would buy a 3 inch that wasn't a custom.

Well, I had a once over and the Trench Site is easy to pick up but it seam to be more of a point and shoot....Still now time to get to the range.

I did run across this Colt .38 Super I have been looking for years. Government Model and I have parts to up grade it.
