Member Link Up West Phoenix shooting areas

Phoenix area shooters: I've lived hear all my life but I can't find a place to do some 500+ yard shooting that's NOT at a public range. Every place I go it's nothing but private property or quads all over the place. I live in Avondale and there has got to be a place within reasonable driving distance for some safe L/R shooting. Any ideas?

I just started LR shooting, but have not found any open land nearby yet, but will continue looking. I'll shout out if I come across anything. Should be easier after the weather cools.

dunno if its still there as I have not been to phx in a few years..I use to go shoot out by table mesa road up the 17..get off on the table mesa road exit..used to have easy to 700 plus..can get a little crowded weekends though with other shooters.

Last time i was up at Table Mesa (in May) forest service had hung a ton of no shooting signs and blocked off a lot of areas
