Don't normally post here, but figured that the populace here should be a bit more informed than other forums I frequent.

Is there any reason to expect accuracy from a PredatOBR to be any less than a comparable OBR? When I say accuracy, I mean the achievement of comparable accuracy by the same shooter.

I know the differences between the guns... and I assume that with the same barrel, potential accuracy would be the relatively same. Varying body mechanics and personal preferences aside, is there anything that causes one platform to be inherently more accurate than the other?

Some things I was thinking:

Mechanical tolerances? I assume they would be the same meaning no big difference in the way you'd grip the gun.

Height over bore? Slightly more for an OBR rail than a 20 moa mount on a flat rail or no?

What about clip on night vision lined up perfectly on the continuous OBR rail vs a optic in a 20 MOA mount on a flat rail? Any noticeable difference?

Just trying to decide which one I'd rather be waiting on. If it matters, I'll be using this as both a personal (hunting and target shooting) and work (LEO) rig... if it's to my liking. Have yet to try anything other than a 700 for precision shooting.

Thanks.

Re: tOBR question...

Should shoot/perform the same. I want the PredatOBR specifically for the regular height rail, negating the need for cheek risers/RISRs.

Re: tOBR question...

Only reason I went OBR is because I need the elevation on my day optic and have CNVDLR to mount in front so it's nice having everything with the same amount of cant. If that wasn't my goal or I was running something like a 1-8 or a 2.5-10 on it I'd be on the tOBR list instead.

Would there be a noticeable difference if the optic were canted and the NV was not?

LoneWolf [user on here] asked this of TNVC and got a reply back from a rep, the gist of it was "no" as far as poa/poi.
