HELP!! GAP 10 Coloring scheme

Hey Guys,

I'm ordering my GAP 10 and was informed that their Coyote Tan Ceracote finish does not match their Coyote Tan Magpul PRS stock and grip.

However, their FDE finish does match their FDE Magul PRS stock and grip...

Anyone have a picture of this actual coloring? for the Coyote Tan vs the FDE??

Are there any other stocks I can use with the Coyote Tan??

Just want the gun to look nice and match!! Was looking at a few of the GAP 10 threads already.

Ok, it's a rifle not a fashion accessory. I have a tan GAP-10 with tan Magpul stock, and they match close enough, at least for a rifle that I actually shoot.

I know... I know... just think that if I'm spending $3k+ for a rifle, I don't want it to look retarded. Would be interested to see a pic of a GAP 10 in FDE...

i would just get the FDE and have it match. If its not-matching enough for them to mention it, and you want it to match, its probably going to bother you.

did you ask if they can send you a picture?

I asked George if he could make my Crusader in leopard print thong. I suspect George was struggling with a sinus infection. Over the phone, he stated that Pepsi really burns in the nose.

The rifle arrived in GAP camo. It's a nice pattern, but it doesn't quite work with my man-purse & banana-hammock ensemble.

It won't be a perfect match to the Magpul furniture- close but you can tell the difference.

Honestly it won't matter if you think of it as a base coat, then use some krylon, greens and browns with a sponge if it's for hunting.

When your done wipe down with a rag dampened in brake cleaner and it's back to FDE in quick order.
