I have a Seekins upper lower and Bar coming in and Have bought all the parts so far for my build.
I will be swapping between 458 SOCOM and 5.56

which trigger would be best?
I was leaning towards the Timney skeletal trigger (3lb) but I keep hearing Geisselli (i know i messed that name up) triggers are better?

Re: AR15 2 stage or 1 stage

Geiselle hands down is the best 2 stage AR trigger on the market

Re: AR15 2 stage or 1 stage

I'm a big fan of two-stage triggers. You can make them break every bit as clean as single-stage, but they're much safer (in my opinion). Plus, I think they feel much better.

Geiselle is the way to go for two-stage AR triggers.

Re: AR15 2 stage or 1 stage

I like the feel of a single stage trigger in both my bolt and semi auto rifles. I have a Timney in my POF and GAP 10 now and have a Seekins SP3G coming in with a Geissele Super 3 Gun trigger in it. After trying one on another rifle at the range I am really looking forward to it.

Like most things in shooting though there isnt a right ir wrong answer. It comes down to personal preference.

Re: AR15 2 stage or 1 stage

From a shop owner/armorer standpoint I like the two stage Geiselle triggers because they are SAFE. When customers want a lighter crisper break on an AR a two stage gives them what they are looking for and keeps the rifle from coming back to the shop because its double firing or worse.

I use one on my 6.8 SPC and I love it. Worth the money...

Re: AR15 2 stage or 1 stage

If a 2 stage then Geissele only. If a single stage JP only. If your used to shooting bolt guns, you will probably prefer the ss trigger, but if you like the 2 stage (I love both, lol) go ahead and get the DMR Geissele, you won't be disappointed, just make sure to use the pins that come with it, and no KNS pin kit.

Re: AR15 2 stage or 1 stage

Look into a Gieselle SSA or SSA-E...seriously one of the most well rounded triggers I have ever owned or shot. It will perform well in just about any role.

I prefer the 1stage trigger. You could always try both and see witch you like better.

That sums it up right there. Having that 2 stage has saved my ass more then I care to admit be a animal or a group.
