I've been reading some of the threads on aci's and some people say that the mildot master is capable of doing the same ....how true is this and is it as accurate ....also read on the horus indicator ....any thought on indicators vs mildot master ....which would be easier and quicker to use

The mildot master is an option for angle fire. Because it isnt weapon mounted it can take a bit longer to use then a weapon mounted ACI.
The question is do you really need it and if so how often will you use it?
If you actually need it and will use it often then get the ACI, if only occasional use then the mildot master is fine.
Either way the mildot master is a tool that every LR shooter should have.

ACI with the cosine already calc'd.... .XX is close enough

Thinking about it.....now that u asked me that I don't think I'd be shooting in such angles ..... For what I need it for I'm guessing the mildot master would suffice....I just wanted a backup incase my calculator or phone messes up I do most of my calculations there anyways ...cool

I'm surprised some egghead has not written an ACI app for the iphone/ android. I have seen a bubble level app already.
