All shots were done at 100 yds and shot from a gun vise to take out as much human factor as possible. I think 100 yards is too close to get a solid load in but it seems to give a good start. The next time I will back out to 300 yards and try again with the data I gathered today. These are the best 5 shot groups of the morning.

The Mic read .601 - .308 for the bullet diameter = .293

The mic read .567 - .308 = .259

Remington 700 action, Krieger 24" MTU barrel 1-12 twist, Mcmillan A5. This thing shoots great!

Re: First attempt at reloading went well

I used new winchester brass, federal primers, berger 155 grain bullet, and varget. I started at 44 grains and went up to 48.5 in .5 incriments. I plan on reloading more for the 300 yard test in .2 incriments to get the perfect load.
