I filled out my paperwork on a Gemtech Outland IID on Saturday 20 October with an NFA trust and now the wait begins...
The only redeeming factor is that my Class III has a nice little sand pile out behind the shop and I can get a little trigger time to help pass the time.

Well, the ATF cashed my check after 7+ weeks of waiting. I called my dealer and he called NFA branch to check the status of the application because it was longer than usual before the check hit my bank account. I was worried as the application was mailed off just prior to hurricane Sandy making landfall on the east coast.
ATF had the application but had not assigned it to an investigator until this week.
I'm guessing I have another 4 to 5 months wait time now.

If you are lucky. I would bet closer to 6 months left.
