What action are you looking to buy? I think you can still get a few different barreled actions from the CMP.

The CMP does still offer a few things that might meet your needs, just depends on what kind of action you're looking for. They no longer have any 40Xs but I think you could still get a Winchester 52 and maybe even the Kimber 82s.
I started a similar thread a while back (link below) when I was looking for an action to build onto. There were a few folks that threw some manufacturers my way that I had never heard of. Lots of options in the benchrest rifle manufacturing arena, all depending upon how much you're willing to invest for just the action. Myself, I think I'm going to either get just the 605 action or commission a build by Black Ops Precision, you should look into that thread as well (second link).
