This rifle (Mann Device) was stolen from a friend of mine in Ariz.

It's not what one would call a "gang banger" gun but would show up in hole or parts in the F-Class or LRPR field.

WALKER

The number 80 is engraved 2 places, on opposite sides of the barrel, 8.5 inches from the
muzzle. The barrel is stainless, approximately 21.75 inches long.
Total weight of the stolen rifle assembly is 31 pounds.

It was enclosed in a cheap hard black plastic gun carrying case with foam waffle padding on both interior sides.

The scope attached is a Nightforce Benchrest model NF-42X56MM .125moa with a NPR2 reticule, Serial Number YO1770.

If anyone sees this rifle or any of the serialized pieces please notify your local law enforcement
agency or Arizona Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (623) 972-2555.</div></div>

A photograph of the rifle can be seen at this link :

It's a Mann Accuracy device in 308 he got from the DCM. The Army uses the device to check the accuracy of ammo.

The rest he made himsef, he's been working on it over a year and just about got it put together. From what I understand its one extremely accurate machine.

I have one in 5.56 on a Remington Action that I'm working on. I'm not near as far along as he is.

To give you an example. On my 5.56 device, if I use new Winchester Brass only about a third of them will chamber. You need to run new brass trough a small base die prior to loading. There is zero headspace. My barrel is made by KART with extreme close tollerences. Great for working up loads for my White Oak upper.

Thanks i of course checked what Mann device is but was curious as to why it's been built with such "interesting" mix of parts...

As to the beauty its in the eye of beholder...
