New Barrel For .338 Lapua Magnum?

I have a Savage BA110 .338 Lapua Magnum. I'd like to put a new
barrel on it. A few newbie questions if you don't mind.

I'd like something in a 30" / 31" length.
What muzzle break?
Should it be a fluted barrel or not?
What about thickness and the taper of the barrel?
Twist: 1 in 9".
What brands do you recommend?
Prices?

Any other info would be appreciated.

I have used McGowen for my Savage barrels. My last one was a 28" stainless 6BR, and it only took 6 weeks to build. Shot lights out, and cleaned up with just a few patches...bore was NICE!

They build them for the Savage LG shank "target" action, which is what your 110BA takes (target action takes longer threads on the barrel). Prices are listed on their site, as is accessory work (brakes, etc) taper options, specs.

Buy a headspace guage and Savage wrench, and you can install it yourself in 1/2 hour.
