What exactly makes it a "gimmick"? What did Aimpoint promise and fail to deliver on with the T1? The H1 is marketed as a non-NVD compatible T1. What is deceptive about such marketing? Typical that you'd talk out your ass. </div></div>
What do you mean by non-NVD? I can see both dots, the one from the H1 and the one from the T1 with my night vision goggles. If I can see it with my AN-PVS7 goggles, I am sure the scope will have no problems either.
Also Red Dots are made for CQB, and I think a NVG optic is pretty lame for CQB since you have to keep your head through the optic while it is dark to see anything. For NVG in CQB environment, I would go goggles, lasers, and illuminators.
