I'm building a 300 Blackout SBR and am playing with the idea of tucking the can in the rail 1 inch or so.

I need it to mount to a muzzle device without the use of tools. I was looking at the AAC SDN-6 but I have reservations about the accuracy and removal when tucked under the rail.

I have a TBAC 30BA on the way that I may use on the SBR for the meantime but I intend to dedicate the 30BA to my bolt gun. I'm hoping to find a can with comparable accuracy.

Desired attributes:
Muzzle device attachment
Able to take heat (stainless/inconel)
Accuracy comparable to TBAC
Removable without access to the rear of the can
Price around or under $1000

If I can't find anything fitting the bill I will settle on the SDN-6 unless someone can tell me that the SR7 will be out soon.

Re: Looking for a specific set of attributes.

The only cans I can think of that would allow the use of a muzzle device is either Elite Iron or Ops Inc cans. They mount over a proprietary muzzle device both of which have to have the barrel contoured to allow said device but they would work. As far as price being around 1000 they are close. However these both are not quick detach as the SDN-6 is and utilize threads behind their respective muzzle device. However this would give you the accuracy you want and would meat your other wishes listed.

Suppressed Aramament Systems also has a setup like Ops Inc. Little cheaper to boot.

Go with Ops Inc. You won't regret it

Pretty much any QD can with a locking mechanism will require access to the rear of the silencer to remove, which immediately knocks out two of the best can manufacturers (surefire, AAC). Ops Inc is a good suggestion. You can also look at TBAC and SAS, I think they both offer brake-mounted silencers that don't have locking latches.
