Planning on repainting my A5 in a Multicam-ish pattern.

When prepping/sanding, how do you guys deal with the textured grip areas around the palm swell and up front on the stock?

Re: McMillan Stock Paintjob

You have a good looking stock like it is, and the toughest finish in the industry, I would leave it like it is. If you want multicam I would consider hydro dipping.

Re: McMillan Stock Paintjob

Hmm, hydro dipping is a good idea. Where can I inquire about the cost of such a thing?
