I recently got my Manners T3 stock in. I had it inletted for a BAT VR action and light palma barrel. The rifle will be chambered for 6.5x47. I put the barreled action into the stock and it fits nicely. However, the bolt is hitting the cheek piece, not allowing me to cycle the action. Is this common? Should Manners have notched out the cheek piece when I had them inlet it for the action? I wasnt expecting this issue at all.

Send me pm with your contact info, or call the shop in the AM, we will get you a return label and get it corrected ASAP . Thank you very much

Re: Manners Inletting Issue

Manners CS is astounding, they've answered their phone every time I've called, and they always handle issues like this perfectly, whether it's their fault or not.

I believe Mr. Manners knows How to keep customers just that. My hats off to him.

Re: Manners Inletting Issue

All of the above is the reason my next stock is going to be a manners if you noticed the first reply was Tom himself ready to fix it. That speaks volumes!!! I had a friend who ran into a couple issues with the stock he ordered and had to send it back, BUT he was MORE than well taken care of on each issue and even though he could be upset from it happening, Because of the way Manners handled it, he is the biggest sales rep I know for them and recommends them to every one!! I look forward to owning my own T5A in the future!!!!

Just a side note: in my line of work I work directly with customer callbacks/concerns and since being a member on here I have really tried to implement the CS standards that I have seen from these quality companies on the hide, and have have gotten the owner/managers on board and it has resulted in multiple promotions, bonuses, and 40%-50% company growth each year and we have a better customer base than we have ever had!!! I feel the credit for a good portion of that is adopting Great CS practices!!!
Thanks for the life lessons

Re: Manners Inletting Issue

I know guys. I was kind of embarrassed that he personally responded. Its not often that the owner gets involved that quickly. Im impressed. I just missed Toms call, but its all worked out. Thanks again for a superbly comfortable stock!

Re: Manners Inletting Issue

Tom is a great business man. We are lucky to have him in the industry.

Re: Manners Inletting Issue

Tom is on problems like lines on paper.

He goes above and WAAAAYYYYY beyond to correct issues and makes everything NICE.

I don't see any other stock manufacturers taking care of business like Tom does.

That's why any rifle I build will have a Manners on it.

Thanks to Tom and his crew!

Re: Manners Inletting Issue

I had called Tom to have adjustable length system added to my t2. He said send it in and he would get to it pretty quick. I got a call 2 days later noticing some chipping which was caused by me. He fixed all the chips moved a flush cup, installed the system , and refinished the stock in a week. Way after than a I thought and he went above and beyond. Tom is the man.
