After much research and debate, I'm going with the SWFA SS scope for my 10/22 VLEH. I'll primarily be using the rifle as a tactical trainer from 25-200yds (with the occasional 300yd shot) and paper punching. I want it to be effective as a tactical trainer (capable of changing targets and distances quickly if needed).
That said, which version would be better for my usage? I like the 6x as it's usable just shy of point blank range, whereas the 10x allows much more precision. I'm worried I won't be able to effectively use the reticle on long shots with the 6x, whereas I'm concerned have tunnel-vision with the 10x. Also, the exit-pupil is much larger/better on the 6x.
Any input on which one I should go with? If I go with the 10x version, I'll be getting the side-adjustable parallax (10x42M).
