Yeah yeah you got me. I have been trying that more often. My apologies. I went ahead and ordered a picatinny rail for it so I will have more options of rings to use. I don't have the scope yet to measure the heights etc. Was trying to see if anyone had same set up and could give direct recommendation from experience. Pretty common set up. Then I could go ahead and order the rings and bam have it all in and mount it so I can go shoot. Any help is appreciated.

I think Clint Smith put it best "what ever you do dont skimp here,buy the best you can afford " I have used Badger, Nightforce,Leuopold and will be trying Seekins when I get home.I do like the look of the Aadland, and may try a set just to see how they work. Good Luck

Ever since I bought my first pair of them a year or two ago, I haven't used any other rings...

Haven't researched the Aadland rings. Is there someone on SH that manufactures them or sales them that come highly recommended?

John is on here somewhere. I can't recall his handle off the top of my head. Not sure what his resume is but his rings are built like tanks. Triple lug, steel screws, etc etc. They're so large that they don't fit some scopes like SB, SN4, etc.

THey are the same price as the Seekins Rings. They are both great. I'm not going to get all picky. However, the makers sure are proud of them, but trying to do it up right! Cry Once!

No, monolithic, 1-piece base and ring unit for REM 700. Like those you mentioned, but made to direct mount to rem700 receiver. Nightforce makes one, but who else?

Ouch. So are you saying NO Seekins in stock? WHat about Aaland? I may have to get the NF's. I can get them pretty easy at The Outpost Armory here in Nashville. Just was wanting to try something else....

Ahh I gotcha. The only other one I know of is by DNZ. Had one a while back and promptly returned it so NF may be the ticket.

Jon's screen name on here is Aadland. He lives 25 min south of me and I highly reccommend them. He makes the rings and AR risers. Its all on his website. I get mine directly from him, but they are also on sale at SWFA.

I emailed Jon this am. NO one from Seekins has returned my email or PM. I would like to have the Aaland rings if he has what I need available. If not, NF will have to do.

I think you can get them like $10 cheaper through SWFA... I get mine directly from him cause he's 25 min south and it gives me an excuse to get out of the house

Can somebody describe the difference between the Aadland rings and the Seekins rings? They look very similar when comparing the 6-bolt rings. I have some Seekins and they have been great, was wondering how the Aadland's were any different.

Jon Aadland called me at 8:00 last night to talk to me about my set up to make sure I ordered the right rings. I had him paid and he shipped the rings out the very next morning! Nuff said for me!

Brett, I believe it will be a matter of personal preferrence. From what all have said on here, they are both outstanding rings!
