Here is my newly assembled MK12 Mod1...(minus a nice scope, Front sight, and sling.) I am also building a lower for it, as this lower is pending an SBR stamp....I am waiting to finish the dedicated lower which will host a nice two stage trigger, and A1 furniture.

Anyway, some specs:
ADCO SPR 1/7 .223 Wylde 19" SS Barrel
BCM BCG
KAC rear micro 2-6m
KAC RAS II FF
Badger Ord. Gas Block
OPS INC. brake/collar
ARMS #22H rings
Harris SBRM 6-9 Notched.
(scope is just to hold me over until I can afford something "Nice"...funds are tight.

I shot it with some cheap plinking ammo, (all i had on hand, and really wanted to shoot it.)

And I can say, Once I start to reload (this build has finally encouraged me to start reloading, I am in the process of reading up on it before I purchase anything)get a good trigger, and more practice from me

this thing will shoot wonders.

Nope, its a pretty sturdy Camera tripod I got at a thrift store, I made a saddle, tapped it and bolted it on top, alittle bit of Krylon and it looks nice and Tactical

I was going to fabricate a clamp for the saddle, but I like just using it as a "Rest"

Re: My MK12 Build.

I love that tripod setup, I think I'm going to have to build myself something similar!

Re: My MK12 Build.

If you want a good trigger look at anything in the Geissele line up. Me personaly, I like the Geissele SD-E. Also, very nice rifle you have there. *Forgot to mention, if you are just getting in to reloading have a look at the Lee breech lock challenger kit. It comes with almost everything you need to start reloading.

Re: My MK12 Build.

That is a beautiful set up so far. Only going to get sexier too. I am leaning hard towards buying a mk12 upper.

Re: My MK12 Build.

That's a great looking rifle. +1 on the Geissele triggers. I have and adjustable DMR trigger and it's great.

Re: My MK12 Build.

I will look more closely into the Geissele triggers, ive looked at them before but was turned off by the price...I know, dumb since i have so much wrapped up into the rifle why cheap out now?

might have to build up some funds first! as they are depleted.

Re: My MK12 Build.

Good looking rifle! A load that works really well for me is LC case, M41 primer, 23.6gr Ramshot Tac, and a Nosler 77gr CC.
