Most likely from being WAY to damn wound up, looks like he did a few lines of coke before he got behind the rifle.

Re: How not to yank the trigger....

apply slow, steady pressure, straight to the rear, so that the hammer falls without the shooters knowledge... sir..

lol, its a state of mind. that slow steady pressure and surprise happens in 1/2 seconds when you do it all the time. it just a ditty from boot camp that helps explain the trigger control. a way to think that stop anticipation. You are obviously choosing the shot because you are applying pressure... thought maybe some jarheads would remember the phrasing.

Re: How not to yank the trigger....

I know the fella well. He is a top shooter.
I guess he was eager to make the vid with a new rifle not properly adjusted etc.
Poor form, thats correct, but the comments about coke could be spared.

Was this posted just to take a personal shot at Bobby? I didn't see anything on the trigger that warranted posting in this thread...

Re: How not to yank the trigger....

Looked very jumpy the minute he got behind the rifle....never seen anything his little finger dance before.

Not too convinced about the broken tooth...I'm thinking he released the shot early due to his "trigger frigging" technique...ND head jerk response?

Wasn't too impressed by him appearing to chamber a round, close the bolt and then cut to a section showing him adjusting the buttstock. Let's hope that was just an out of sequence edit on the video?
