Long story short, bought a Bushnell Excursion 15-45 with the Mildot reticule about 2+ years ago. I was out of the country for most of the time so I used it all of a handful of hours without issue.
I come home and take it out thinking it may be time to 'trade up' to something better as I will be shooting from what I feel, further than this spotter is intended for and take it out with me to the range; the first time I adjust the magnification setting, the twisting motion somehow moves the reticule inside the spotter - not from me twisting too hard, but somehow the reticule angles itself WITH the turn about 15 degrees. Fantastic.
I read on here a while back that they discontinued these spotters and they will end up sending me a 'newer' variant without the reticule; is this true? Or since this is over 2 years old (yet next to never used) am I out of luck or how would this work with them?
A little pissed that something that has seen its hardest use while being shipped from the vendor already took a shit like this.
