Just wondering what magazine followers the gunsmiths used in their shops for rifles built on Rem 700 / Rem 700 clone actions??

I see Midway USA & Brownells sells an upgrade to the factory one that is milled steel instead of the stamped junk from Remington - you guys use these??

Thanks!!

For lighter builds I like the stamped junk. I haven't seen one snap yet!
Otherwise I usually use the factory solid stainless. They especially work well if you need to modify them a bit to get a short mag to feed a little better.

I like the steel ones that Dakota arms makes. Not that they work any better, but its just a nicer piece. They polish up nice-much better than the cast/sintered ones. The casting marks seem to take forever to buff out.

Hope this helps,

C.
