Looking at a new project of necking down 338 Rem Ultra mag to 7mm. Want to neck down in 3 steps using bushing dies. Thought I could use 300 and 7 Ultra bushing dies, but I think I may not be able to size the neck far enough down before the dies bottom out on the shorter 338 rum case. Thought of using a 300 RSAUM neck bushing die and use different size bushings. Eventually I will send cases to Redding and have dies made but in the mean time I need to have a few rounds to get some fired cases. Any help is appreciated.
