What weight shoots the best? Going to order 500 rounds.

How are your groups?

Well what weight bullets has your rifle preferred in the past. I know that most guys in the larger 6.5s like creedmoor and 260 remington like the 140 grain family (139 scenar, 142 smk, etc) personally I shoot both the 140 amax and 142 smk with good results out of my ar-10

How the ammo shoots out of your rifle is all that matters.

Buy a 20 box of each to test then you'll know.

Better safe than sorry.

I can tell you you will not go wrong either. I do see a lot of my TRG customers shooting the 139 Scenars.

I personally like the 142's

I like the 142s SMK for my .260, but I would test those and the scenars to see what your rifle likes the best before buying 500 rounds.

I think Zach will do test packs where they load several velocities for a given bullet so you can really dial what your rifle likes. I would go through several test packs before making the investment in 500 rounds. Once you get the right round dialed in, then spend the cash.

My 2 cents.

The TRG-22/.260 is not finicky about bullets. I have had great results with 139 Scenars, 142 SMKs and 140 Bergers. I haven't tried the 140 A-Max yet, but I suspect they would work fine too.

In my personal opinion, the Scenars are just a tiny bit more consistant than the others I have tested and that is what I have settled on.
