Pretty sure its been 9 years since I went deer hunting and I got the urge to get out there this year. This guy came in just before dark chasing two doe about 200yds away. Took him with my Savage 12 Palma and the Berger 168 Hybrid. Not the biggest out there, but the biggest I've taken to date (just wish he wasnt missing that brow tine!). Thanks for looking

Re: First deer in 9 years

That's a good looking deer....fun to go out and get one from time to time isn't it.

Re: First deer in 9 years

That is a nice deer. I love my time in the woods.

Re: First deer in 9 years

Nice buck a taxidermist could put you another brow tine to match the other one i work with one he does repairs like that all the time, just a thought.

Re: First deer in 9 years

Nice buck and success is success regardless of rack size or broken tine! Tag soup isn't as tastey as a steak even from a gamey rutting buck!

Congrats and nice comeback!

Nice buck! Broken, missing points are cool and brings character to the deer. It just means he was a fighter!
