Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

I am gonna have to grab one! Thanks for the heads up!

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

No problem man. Be sure and check what shipping is going to cost before you order though. I see a ton of post about Midway ripping people off on shipping and it might make the case cost more than it would from other dealers on a daily basis.

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

When I put it in the cart and got the shipping estimate it was $21 to NC, which isn't to bad considering it weights 23lbs and isn't exactly small. Thanks for the heads up!

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

Awesome sounds like a good deal! Just keep an eye on that shipping on the day of the sale to make sure it doesnt change.

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

Shipping to Central Florida is coming up right at $22. I just might have to pick one of these up. Cheapest I've found any storm or pelican cases locally has been just over $200 plus tax.

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

Even with the shipping you save on sales tax our rate more than offsets the shipping let alone the $4.00 has in our state.... Long live Midwayusa...

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

Im wishing now I hadnt bought my Plano case a few weeks ago for $99. I wanted a pelican but didnt want to pay $229

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

I picked one of these up last year during their black friday sale and paid 180 shipped to my door. Can't beat this deal!!

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

Smokin deal! Does anyone know if there are differences between the 3100,3200 and 3300 as far as the foam inserts go?

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

just spotted this ...right after I posted about a case. Timing...always timing. The interior dimensions look generous...Wonder if it could fit a scoped AR-15 and a scoped .22 lr.
It might make the foam at edges a bit thin...hmm
What ya think?

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

Man I would think you could fit both those no problem...All depends on how much you have attached to both rifles I guess. Lay em on the ground in different configurations and measure Id think you could fit em.

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

Guys, I don't have anything to do with the company below, but regular deals on Pelican and Storm are always out there. For example, Here's a 1720 for $175 every day of the week, and they don't hose you for the twenty or thirty dollars shipping to bring the case back up to $200 like Midway does:

If you want to save five or ten bucks tomorrow at Midway, I'm all for it. But if you don't need one NOW it's really not that much of a deal.

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

That 1720 is 6" shorter than a 3300. The 1750 is approximately the same size as the 3300 and is $205+ $30 shipping.

<span style="text-decoration: line-through">So it's midnight their time, and still not available... </span>

It just went live...

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

Just ordered one 188 shipped.

I was going to go with a 1720 for traveling, until I found out it was 4" over the size limit. So I figured oversize is over size and grabbed this one instead.

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

Was there a free shipping or reduced shipping code? That would suck to not have used a code. I lucked out; ordered mine just after midnight Sunday / Monday out here on the west coast! Finally got in on a good deal!

The codes don't work on clearance and sale items. Even so with the $27 I paid in shipping it's still cheaper than anywhere I've found.

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

Yeah I seen that at 4am yesterday and knew I should have jumped on the computer before work to order. That was a good deal. Dang it.

Yea and the 17xxx legacy Pelican brand cases suck balls compared to the iM3xxx legacy Storm cases. Now bring in the fact that the default foam in the cases is not the best for our intended application and overall you are way ahead to a) order the case you want b) with the foam you want (PE) that is c) correctly die cut for the case from caseclub.com along with d) some extra foam sets to configure the case for multiple rifles.

Re: Pelican 3300 cases on sale at Midway- $159

If you ask to don't know / learn...it would have been nice not to pay the shipping..(sigh). Oh well, case arrives Friday, will see then if all this noise about the "great" deal was worth it.
