Hey guys,

I have had quite a few requests for this combination lately. One of my favorites. Vortex fluting, my new 4G knob, and Cerakote Graphite Black/ Micro Slick on the bolt body. Makes for a very nice, functional bolt. IMHO.

Re: Very nice combination

Nice! I'm digging the Vortex fluting. The knob looks well thought out as well; not smooth enough to have your mitts slip off but not overly textured (for lack of a better term).

Very slick, looks great.

Re: Very nice combination

Do you do savage bolts? I've been looking to have mine done.

Re: Very nice combination

PRS,

Yes I work on Savage, Tikka, Remington, Howa, and Winchester. If you would like to look at my site you can check out the options available. Just click on the logo below.

Very nice work, might be sending u a tikka bolt after the first of the year.

Re: Very nice combination

Shop time is usually about a week or so, give or take a little.

Re: Very nice combination

Likin' the Vortex. And the knob doesn't look TOO gigantic.

Re: Very nice combination

Debating sending mine to you. The only thing I'm not clear on from your site is how many different styles of bolt knobs you have?

Re: Very nice combination

Skeld1,

It is confusing. I will be updating the site shortly. I am just finishing up a prototype knob that will compliment the Vortex fluting. The pics below show my knobs. First pic is the new 4G knob. Second pic is the PPR knob. And the last pic is my 1st prototype of the new VORTEX knob.

Will have the 2nd prototype shortly. Thanks for asking.

Re: Very nice combination

Is that the Vortex fluting in the 2nd to last picture? or is it the Tac 6 or 8? It looks a little different to me than the Vortex fluting on the coated bolt?

Re: Very nice combination

That is the TAC-8 style. And, the bolt in the action is also TAC-8, with the flutes coated in grey.

Thanks,

Paul

Re: Very nice combination - VORTEX

Mark,

That's my personal favorite as well. Nothing quite like the speed bump effect for a smooth cycling bolt.

We can easily fix that.

Re: Very nice combination

Thanks, that clears it up for me. I like the bolt knob in the first pic, and the fluting in the second. What style/coating would I order to get the second look?

Although maybe they are the same style, it changes the look a little bit and makes it hard to tell when it's in the gun versus out for me.

Re: Very nice combination

Skeld1,

To get the combination that you like, you would need to order as follows:

TAC-8 Fluting
4G Bolt Knob
Sniper Grey coating, with a polished bolt body.

Should be a sharp looking combination.

Re: Very nice combination

I may have to send you a couple of bolts once their rifles are done being built.
