Gunsmithing Factory Rem Barrel On Different Action?

I apologize ahead of time for the simple question.
Can you just take a factory barrel from one factory Remington action and thread it on to another factory Remington action and have it head space properly? Or do I have to have a gunsmith do it? What if both rifle were the same caliber to start with? I think I know the answer to this but thought I would ask anyways just to be sure.

About 50/50 on getting it to headspace but when it does the writing will not line up. You need a smith

Smith it...

1 turn bbl set back, a proper crown and you'll be good to go. But, I'd just get another bbl. The rem bbls are just OK and not really worth the expense if you shoot much.

That said, if it's just a hunting rig, they're fine.
