I can't find the discussion on modifications to the Thumler Tumbler to optimize cleaning with the stainless steel media. I recently tried it and my drum leaked. Thanks for any help.

I have made no modifications to mine at all. Just add water, lemishine, SS media and brass. Mine has never leaked enough to notice, and I have forgotten it overnight before. You are using the rubber piece between the metal lid right?

I use SS media, lemishine, and dawn and it works better than I could ever hope for with no leaks. If you're having that problem, I'd just repair it with some rubber sealant.

My rubber gasket may need to be replaced. I tried to wade through 51 pages but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Yeah, either your gasket is bad or the rim of barrel mouth is bent somehow. I doubt their is a hole or crack anywhere else.

I had the same problem and just called the company. The lady sent me a new one for $3

I think what your looking for a something lime plexyglass, sold at lowes or home depot. Its clear plastic
