Photos Vortex barrel fluting - Bull Sporter - Vortex knob

Hey guys,

Finally got a chance to Vortex flute a lighter barrel for a buddy. It is a Kreiger Bull Sporter that has a 1.200 shank and is .750 at the muzzle at 26". 180 deg. of rotation. It machined very nicely and I think it looks "Bad Ass".

I think it complements the Vortex bolt fluting very nicely. This is available "now" for those looking for something different. As soon as he gets it coated pics will follow. Vortex prototype knob pic also shown. Thoughts,comments are always appreciated. Thanks for checking it out.

TWISTED: Literally & Figuratively. Me Likes! BTW do you have a before & after weight on this?

With that wide slow twist, I'm betting you could do some sick, & VERY effective camo work on that barrel. Run a pattern [of sorts] in the direction opposite to the direction of twist.
Send me a barrel, & I'll do lots of Krylon variants & field testing

with pics of course.

That is BAD ASS! And very similar and or exactly what I would like to do on my 260 build. What's a guy look'n to pay for a job like that? (Barrel and Bolt)

The bolt fluting runs 85.00 and the barrel is 185.00.
