Here is a buck I shot about an hour ago here in Florida with my blackout. I was shooting a custom build with a 16" Wilson match barrel and nosler 125 grain ballistic tips. He was 125 yards away.

And I could weigh it but I think its around 8 or 9 with optics and 20 round mag....
And I agree, its ridiculous people think you must have a 50 BMG for deer or hogs. Even a 223 works great if stuck right through the pump house!!

Agreed. I usually only use .223 for does because I don't want to risk losing a buck, but it works just as well on hogs as the bigger calibers. Shot placement is key.
Looks like ya'll's deer hunting weather is about like ours right now. I lived in Gainesville for a year and still recall that I only ran my heater for about a 1 week period during the winter. Seems like the leaves were off the trees for about 2 weeks, then they started coming back.
