Hey guys I was just thinking back on a great year of shooting and started counting it up and realized Im about to shoot my 2500th round and I wondered how many centerfire rounds you guys sent downrange this year?

Excluding .22LR, I am at about 3000. That's .22-250, .243, .308, and .300WM. Been a decent year...

Counting duty and my own personal stuff, somewhere north of 4000. That is out of a lot of different weapon systems.

I'm not exactly sure how many i've put through my Creedmoor since rebarreling it in march, without looking at my data book, but its probably between 500 and 800. Then I've sent probably about the same amount through my .223 as well.

At least 10,000 of rimfire, probably much much more more.
I've gone through over 3,000 primers which is my easiest thing to track. Only have a couple hundred rounds of hand loads left.
Plus plenty of factory loads.

A hair over 23,000 pistol ammo, 4,500 or so of centerfire rifle and around 2,500 22lr in pistols and rifle, 800 12 gauge shotgun exactly.
decent year, burned two barrels.

My wife and I had twins in March. My shooting has taken a dramatic drop. I also shoot more rifle than pistol now. My round count for the year is probably around 3k. 2k pistol and 1k rifle.

My year sucked so bad I have to pass, I'll come in less than 2K, with NO pistol.
But my post count was high!

Sadly, I haven't shot much this year, probably 5-6 times--rifle and pistols, possibly 600-800 rounds.
The good news is is that I didn't have to replace many components. I got to partake in the Berger .338 test, so I got a hundred of their new 250gr hybrids to shoot and they gave me another two hundred for my trouble.
Come to think of it, I actually came out ahead financially, lol.

On the plus side I have match ammo left over from this year for next, 510 primed cases for the next batch of ammo, and about 6 different partial boxes.45 ACP hollow points from Glock testing.
Oh, and a new Glock 30 SF and RRA NM AR-15. I may not have shot much but I did get new guns at least.

Sadly probably less than 500 total. This year was the least amount of shooting I have done in years. Besides the two competitions I shot in, I think I went to the range all of two times.

Yikes...this thread put some things in perspective.
I'm only at about 1300 combined pistol/rifle for the year...excluding rimfire (~500?)

I think combining all 4 calibers of pistols I'm right at 3000-3500 rounds,
as for long range in the 300 win mag, add another 600
I have about 300-400 empties left on the bench to reload right now, the long rifle is all done.
Pistol rounds are scattered, mostly 9mm and 45 ACP left to do.
