I totally agree with you, and used to feel exactly that way. Until I found out the 'meaning' of the "X" as well as the history of "Xmas".

Check it out, via Wiki or whatever. I think ya'll will be surprised. It's actually a positive thing, and most don't know it.

I'm ok with that. What I am NOT ok with, is this "Winter Festival" bullshit, and "Season Break", and all that crap. burns my ass to hear of so many schools cancelling the "Christmas Concert" for fear of offending the lesser people.

And yeah, I consider anyone who gets offended at North American centuries old traditions as "lesser people". And they can simply be content that I'm still calling them "people".

While I'll admit the PC crap is WAY out of hand. The "lesser people" comment is way out of line as well. You're an ignorant moron. It's attitudes like this that lead to all the PC over reactions in the first place. It's called an equal and opposite reaction. I really hope this isn't were this site is headed.
