I saw this earlier and really I can't find a problem with it. I mean, if you can't afford to homeschool or likewise protect your children, this option while far from perfect, is still better than nothing. I dunno if it was in that story or not but the one I read about these backpacks had a good point about a child running from a shooter with their backs exposed so why not protect their backs. If it gives my child even a .001% better chance of surviving, then price isn't a consideration.
