I have a Lyman case trimmer and was wondering if the
the RCBS 3-Way Cutter would mount on my trimmer or are there
any other options to trim and chamfer at the same time.
someday i will get a Giraud trimmer but for now i would like
to use what i have now.

Re: RCBS 3-Way Cutter

I have a Lyman powered case trimmer, and my RCBS 3-way cutter will, unfortunately, not work with it. I'm assuming the same would be the case with a Lyman manual trimmer.

Do what I did.... Have Joe H turn down the end to accept a Forster 3in1 cutter, you'll still be able to use the factory cutter. The Forster is like $60 and works awesome for us cheap asses!

I love my 3 way with the powered trimmer . Fast and easy

If I recall correctly, the Lyman uses a larger stud on the cutter. If you have a friend with a small lathe, a bushing may be possible. Start with a bolt that fits in the Lyman lather shaft and then using a lathe, drill and tap the "bolt" to fit the RCBS "Head". Then just "part off" enough of the end of the bolt to fit the available space on the RCBS Cutter.

Because "straight" is essential I'd only attempt this with a lathe.
