wow, just ordered $360 of gear from Natchez and the shipping total was $47. Shipping for same gear from Brownells was $14.
I have no affiliation with either, wish I coulda changed the shipping options at Natchez.

Re: shipping

Call them and cancel, tell them exactly why. You work hard for your money, shouldn't have to work to spend it.

Re: shipping

I did call, they said they couldnt cancel because order ticket had already printed. Frigging BS. Last order they'll ever see from me.
think i will call again and speak with a manager.

Re: shipping

Call them back and they can easily credit your account back the difference, if not then call you bank or CC and tell them to stop payent. Sometimes the low level people at a company are just too lazy to fix things.

Just make sure to get all the info from brownells and maybe a screen cap of the shipping to validate your claim.

Re: shipping

Called them back again. 2nd rep said he would try to cancel the order. Asked to speak with a manager. He said it was final, that he would attempt to find the package after Jan 2 (wouldn't be packed until then due to backlog), and if they could, would stop the shipment and cancel the order.
I said give me a credit for $10 on the shipping and I will be satisfied. He said he could not do that.
Not much incentive for them to cancel the order.
He then starts questioning me on whether or not I got good pricing from Brownells. In fact, Midway was slightly higher, Brownells was only $1 more for each of the small items (shell holders).

Went to the bank and contested the charges. So I'll wait until Monday to order again.
Summary:
1) Be careful ordering from Natchez. Their shipping charges are exhorbitant and their customer service sucks.
2) Use a CC rather than a debit, it's easier to contest and reverse
3) This was about as enjoyable as my last prostate exam, and I hate sounding like a whiny beotch.

Worthless poor ____ complaint.

Natchez didn't do anything wrong here, you saw what they wanted and you paid it, that was an agreement. If Natchez didn't say you had the ability to cancel your order at any time, you can't expect to be able to.

But later when you found it cheaper elsewhere, you welched out of your deal with Natchez, and when it was too late for them to overly inconvenience themselves by physically running around looking for your package in a warehouse, you lied to your credit card company and falsely contested an order which you placed and had NO justification reversing.

Customer service doesn't exist for worthless people to complain about pricing, it's to solve LEGITIMATE issues. Natchez didn't do ANYTHING wrong by not moving heaven and earth to make a ____ like you happy.

On your next prostate exam, ask them if they took your integrity out last time. You don't just sound like a whiny bitch.

Next time you're considering buying something, if you don't like the price you see, shop elsewhere. Don't waste a company's time and money because your word means nothing.

There are a plethora of completely valid reasons why an order can't be canceled even though the package hasn't left the dock.

Just because you're too d@mn ______ to think of one or don't have any business experience to know of one doesn't mean it wasn't completely true.

Placing orders costs companies time and money, and canceling orders costs even more time and money. They don't have people running throughout the facility picking up cancellations at every step of the shipping and handling process.

Re: shipping

Hi Kswift,
Has nothing to do with my integrity.
If you had read my first post carefully, you would see i had not even thought of canceling.
The actions following do say a lot about their business process. The way the 1st rep and the manager spoke with me, does raise questions about their integrity. Mostly, their order fulfillment processing system sucks, otherwise this would be a moot issue.
We will see how it sorts out.
If you want to question the validity of my action, first read the UCC.
I would hope that if you felt raped after a transaction, you would take action too.
Having run my own business on a handshake for 17 years, I can say integrity is essential and customer service king. My record and accomplishments stand up.
