Gunsmithing quick change barrel patent question

Does anyone know if Barrett has a patent on the quick change barrel system they use on the MRAD? Same question about Savage and it's removable bolt-head system.

Check the uspto website and figure it out for yourself.

You bet they do. The only issue is if they have run out yet or not.

yes, those systems are patented. You can do a US patent search and find it.

If there is a quick change system available from a manufacturer...it's patented or patent pending.
