Rifle Scopes SCAR 17 Scope Mount suggestions for Leupold Mark 6

I just ordered a Leupold Mark 6 - 1-6x20 for my SCAR 17S and I need to decide on a mount. I know the top rail on the SCAR is higher than an AR/M4 rail so I'm leaning towards a LaRue QD LT807-34. It looks as if I can mount the scope with the levers on the right and the height is set for 1.375" other LaRue mounts are 1.535” height.

Does anyone have any input on this or can confirm if I'm on the right track?

The Scope is 34mm .

That is a flat base so you could flip it. However, why dont you just move the charging handle to the right side?

If you have experience with AK and Garand and M1 carbine types then that will make sense to you.

I know that's an option but I would rather skip the step of rolling the rifle so that's the reason I'm looking for a mount that has the levers on the right side. I alos own a Robinson XCR with the CH on the left side. It works well for me like that.

I have 2 FAL rifles and they have the charging handle on the left.
Everything else other than my AR rifles has it on the right side.
Though I understand where you are coming from.

Why not go with the Bobro mount and have the base flipped?

This way you won't bust your knuckles on the charging handle.

Actually, if you get Bobro 34mm mount with dual levers, they already come on the right side.

I actually saw that and I placed an order this morning... IMO this is the best option for a 34mm scope on a SCAR.

And Cory gave me a 5% Sniper's Hide discount that basicallt covered freight.
