Do you like one more than the other?
I paid $2400 for my LMT, the OBR was more, was it worth it? Now, I don't know if I'll ever be able to buy an OBR with all the hype/gun B.S.
You're the guy to ask, you own both, real world, not some internet expert.
If you could keep only one, which one?
Thanks, 997/2 </div></div>
I recently traded my OBR for a Beanland built .260 rem.... I would've traded my LMT way before my OBR but the second party knew what he wanted (the OBR). My overall impression of the LMT is well received, its build is stout and plenty accurate, however, the OBR was well defined and in my case extremely accurate (I shot quite a few .3's and .4's moa, placed 4th in a LR course and never had any issues).
overall, I think both are great platforms. But I wanted to drink some of that 6.5 koolaid (and glad I did). If I ever came into some unexpected funds, I'd buy another OBR (18" barrel), but my MWS fits my needs as an accurate semi auto. </div></div>
Hey man, thanks. I bought the LMT because it was a steal, before prices went nuts. The only thing I'm thinking about is a Geisselle for $250. It was a bargain for a .308 rifle.
If I do get another .308, would be a 20" OBR, put a 5-25X on it, would be a hard set-up to beat. I knew that you liked yours a lot.
My only bitch about the LMT is the weight. It's a 16" CL, real compact, shoots great, over gassed bigger than shit.
Again, thanks for the info.
