I picked up a used Sig 226 in 22LR today. Any recommendation on the best ammo to use. I know some .22s can have issues with some brands of ammo.

High velocity. CCI mini mags run great and the stingers. I love my 226 rimfire slide assembly!

My friend has the sig 22 conversion slide for his 226. seems to work well. His has worked well with bulk ammo. Win, fed, rem, just buy some stuff and see what it likes.
I recently bought a m&p22 and have shot federal bulk exclusively through it and it works great.
Trick is keeping the chamber clean. Doesnt matter if your slide and barrel are lubed well, if the chamber is sticky youre going to have FTE all the time. A drop of oil every 100 rds or so and you should be GTG.

I spent a couple days testing different ammo through a P226 .22 and the stingers worked best for me.
BTW an X5 frame, P226 .22 upper with a Yankee Hill Mite suppressor makes for an amazing combo. 50 yards on a 10 inch steel plate, hits as fast as you can pull the trigger.
