Re: Heya Mike!
I gotta say, this isn't much of a surprise. I wanted ND to win (or more accurately, Bama to lose), but figured ND was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overmatched particularly with Bama's running game. That is particularly evident in Bama's current 114 rushing yards halfway through the 2nd quarter when ND has given up an average of 93yds per game on the ground.
I particularly like how some ESPN headlines are "Can ND find an answer?" and similar. Hell no they're not going to find an answer unless Saint Denis (Notre Dame's patron saint) comes back to life, puts his head back on, and plays QB and Safety for the Irish.
Oh well. I just wonder how Mike Golic is going to explain this one away tomorrow morning...
*Now some of you might scoff at Saint Denis being ND's patron saint as you scramble to Wikipedia, but I didn't find it proper to mention the Virgin Mary as there is no way she's involved. Not with how ND is taking it bent over.
