Here's the best 5 shot group I've ever been able to pull off. The gun was hide member Skinney's custom built 260. 5 shots @ 720 yds. We didn't bring a tape measure or anything down to the target but it was roughly 2 1/4 inches. 3 of the shots fit inside my thumbnail, the other 2 are on the bottom right

Factory FGM 175s

You can actually see 3 different groups due to the changing wind. This is an 8 inch plate so no ruler needed. 2 misses dropped low under it. Freakin sick for a .308

this is 5 shots with a R BROS 6.5x47 Lapua, 300 yards.

5 shots at 300 yards.

Measured center to center at .588" at widest spot.
Vertical measures .332"

About a constant 4-5 MPH wind from our 5 o clock.

Shot this 5 shot group a couple of days ago with the Savage in 6.5 Lapua (the black one) with Mcree chassis at 1110 yds. 4 shots between my two fingers and dropped the 5th shot 5" low. Glasses are for scale. First 4 were at .25moa but the last shot opened it up to .5moa.

465 Yds, lots of first here.
First time shooting the .300wm DTA, (a few shots prior to zero from the .308 barrel) first time to chrono a load and use Ballistic. These were reloads given to me when I got the gun.(I know that's a gamble.) 168 HPBT speer, 2950fps. First shots on new steel. zeiss 3-12 scope was hard to make out much of the target. Look forward to more magnification. Wasn't even sure I was hitting steel and not the tree behind it. 4 shots.

not the best in the world, but I was pretty happy when I drove down across the field and saw 3 grouped nicely. The first shot, I was holding a bit. Wind full value 5-7 from the right. 2mil 1 click and a few clicks for wind.

Shot this one at 700 yards. Was missing the 8" plate due to wind and shot 3 rounds at my backer to see where I was hitting. Dollar bill for size reference.

One sighter, then ten shots for score at 600 yards for a 99-3x. Wind was gusting to 20mph and the flags in the valley where the range is were all blowing in opposite directions. Nothing special compared to most of the other groups in this thread, but not too shabby considering what I used to shoot it.

Original 1944 Tula M91/30 PU sniper from a Rock Jr. front rest and rear bag.
Hornady 174 match over 45.0 grains of Varget in Lapua brass with a Tula primer.

sent shot #2 high almost making a direct hit on one of the bolts

opeing the group up to just over 4", the other 5 are just shy of 2.75" (Target is a 5"x6" AR500 plate from Big Dog Steel)

Managed to get the target to hang up on the stand twice. My lazy took over and I decided walking down there wasn't necessary

Sweett. May I ask what load youre running? Bullet/powder/mv? That's a beautiful rifle. Do you have to be careful about running loads too hot. The Swede will definitely be my first surplus rifle. Is it fairly easy to shoot? How would you compare the recoil to say a light(7 lb) .308 with no muzzle brake?

139 Prvi Partizan fmj 48.0gr of rl-22, win. brass cci#200, MV 2820 fps. I did the load development the way I'd do it for any rifle. No pressure signs of any kind. The recoil is very mild, less than a .308.

GAP Crusader in .308, Applied Ballistics 175 Tactical Load used in 300 yd 3 x 15-shot Reduced Palma match:



Inner yellow ring is ~0.9 MOA. Somehow when changing out targets between matches, I lost Target #1, but it was the same as Target #2 (150-11X). I won the match with 449-33X. Gotta love GAP and Applied Ballistics!
