I have a standard 700 Rem magnum action and I would like to use it to build a 375 RUM. Anyone ever had an issue with opening up the feed rails so the RUM case will fit in the magazine box?

Ive never had a problem, I did a surgeon 1086 the other day. It didnt need a lot but a 300 ultra mag case was wider in the back-end then the feed rails were.

Make sure you get the Ultra mag box. I changed a .257 weatherby LSS to a 300 RUM and didn't have to mess with the rails.

Thanks guys. Some of the actions I have that are standard magnum will fit the case some will not. This action is newer and the case will not fit through there. I will open up the rails and I am also going to install the biggest mag box Wyatt makes so I will need to mill out the receiver for that.
